Non-Toxic Kitchen Black Friday Deals

Why Non-Toxic Kitchen Swaps Matter

For the past year, I have been slowly working on reducing the toxic items in my home and kitchen. Due to our budget, I can’t simply change out all our items and products at once. But I can slowly make changes here and there as products run out or kitchen items wear out.

Black Friday: The Best Time for Non-Toxic Kitchen Upgrades

Black Friday is a great time to replace your kitchen items with non-toxic options. Amazon’s Black Friday week starts today and ends November 28th. I am going to take advantage of these deals and shop for my kitchen.

For example, I am still using plastic cutting boards. I am fully aware that each time I cut up something I release microplastics into our food. Everyone says wood cutting boards are the way to go, but I am concerned about bacteria from raw meat leaching into the wood. Also, wood cutting boards require you to oil them occasionally. As a result, I’ve been researching wood composite cutting boards for cutting raw meat and wood cutting boards for chopping fruit, veggies, and breads.

Black Friday Deals on Wood Composite and Wooden Cutting Boards:

  • 17.3×12.8Inch Wood Fiber Composite Cutting Board with Juice Groove and Non-slip Feet, Dishwasher Safe
  • 14.6×10.8Inch Wood Fiber Composite Cutting Board with Juice Groove and Non-slip Feet, Dishwasher Safe
  • [Set of 2], Wood Fiber Composite Cutting Board
  • Acacia Wood Cutting Board for Kitchen, Non-Toxic Cutting Board Set of 3

Black Friday Deals on Stainless-steel, Cast-iron, and Ceramic Pans:

Stainless-steel pans are a great option for cooking. I have had my set of T-fal stainless steel cookware for 16 years, and it is still going strong! For frying or sauteing, I highly recommend either cast-iron or ceramic pans. I love my SENSARTE non-stick ceramic frying pan, and use it almost everyday. I do not want to upkeep cast iron pans, so I prefer non-stick ceramic pans. Enameled cast iron pots are also non-toxic and are a great option for baking artisan bread loaves.

  • T-fal Stainless Steel Cookware Set, 11 Piece
  • Aufranc 10-Piece Pots and Pans Set, Stainless Steel Cookware Set
  • SENSARTE Nonstick Frying Pan Skillet with Lid
  • STAUB, Cocotte Round 22cm

Black Friday Deals on Silicone, Wood, and Stainless-Steel Utensils:

Silicone utensils are a great choice over plastic and won’t scratch your ceramic pans. Wooden and stainless-steel utensils are a great choice when cooking in cast-iron or stainless steel.

  • Non-stick Silicone Utensils Spatula Set with Holder
  • 8-Piece Wooden Kitchen Utensil Set made of Natural Solid Wood Material
  • 5 Pcs Best Wooden Spoons for Cooking
  • 4 Pcs Cooking Utensils Set, Stainless Steel Kitchen Utensils

Black Friday Deals on Glass Food Storage Containers:

Another item on my list is switching out plastic food storage containers to glass ones.

  • 8 Pack Borosilicate Glass Food Storage Containers with Lids
  • 8 Pack 36oz Large Glass Meal Prep Containers with lids
  • 24pc Borosilicate Glass Food Storage Containers with Lids
  • 24pc Sets with 12 Bowls & 12 Airtight Locking Lids

Black Friday Deals on Stainless Steel Baking Pans:

I have switched out my aluminum baking sheets to stainless steel ones, and really enjoy using them. Muffin tins are next on my list to switch to a stainless steel option.

  • Bastwe 20 inch Stainless Steel Bakeware Baking Pans
  • Bastwe 18 inch Commercial Grade Stainless Steel Baking Pan
  • Stainless Steel Cookie Sheets, Baking Sheet Pan Set of 3
  • 12-Piece Stainless Steel Bakeware Sets

Final Thoughts on Building a Non-Toxic Kitchen

Creating a non-toxic kitchen doesn’t have to happen overnight—small, steady changes truly add up. By replacing items as they wear out and taking advantage of sales like Black Friday, you can upgrade your kitchen without overwhelming your budget. Every swap, whether it’s choosing safer cookware, switching to glass containers, or upgrading utensils, helps reduce your exposure to harmful chemicals and supports a healthier home. Give yourself grace in the process and celebrate each mindful choice you make toward a cleaner, safer, more sustainable kitchen.
